No accidents, no breakdowns, no flat or blown tyre, no theft, no traffic fines
In May 2021 Australian Debbie Kruger packed up her Santa Monica, California apartment, moved out,
and literally that night she began driving around the USA on her own. Five months later, she knew one thing:
"If driving across Wyoming didn't kill me, nothing will!"
Leaving St Paul, Minnesota ahead of the drive across South Dakota and Wyoming...
It was May 3, 2021 and after eleven hours watching her worldly possessions packed up and taken away in a movers truck, supposedly to be loaded into a container and shipped to Australia, Debbie drove east on the I-10 towards the California desert in her over-full RAV4. Without having deliberated on it too much, she knew that night, and for the next five months, she would be driving under the radar, literally sticking to speed limits, metaphorically keeping things private.
